About Us
The Canadian Society for Chemical Engineering (CSChE) is the national, not-for-profit, technical association that unites chemical engineering professionals who work in industry, academia, and government.
The Canadian Society for Chemical Engineering brings together the diverse chemical engineering community to exchange knowledge, and enables its members to provide responsible technical leadership to benefit society and humanity.
To advance the principles and practice of chemical engineering in Canada for the benefit of society.
In 2006, the Board also re-affirmed its commitment to advance the profession of chemical engineers by continuing to move ahead on four fronts summarized in the acronym “LIVE.” The four areas are:
- Life-long learning
- Involvement and commitment
- Voice of reason
- Ethics and responsibility
What We Do
We create valuable networking and knowledge-sharing opportunities through annual conferences, Subject Divisions, and Local Sections.
We establish and strengthen links between academic, industrial, and government chemical engineers.
We provides opportunities for career enhancement and professional development.
We advance the public’s understanding and appreciation of chemical engineering.
