What are your daily responsibilities?
Various projects to work on, attend meetings and exchange information with other departments
What were some projects you were involved in?
Replacements/modifications of various equipment in nuclear power plant
What were strong points of your interview? Did grades matter?
I think they liked when I talked about my knowledge of nuclear engineering. Needed a minimum gpa of 2.0 I think to be considered
Which skill sets/courses were most relevant to your position?
Process dynamics and control, and any courses that involved a design project (enviro, team strats, etc)
What did your company expect from you as a 2nd/3rd year co-op student?
Full knowledge of design engineering.
Did you like your overall PEY experience? Why or why not?
Yes I enjoyed it. My coworkers are very understanding and helpful in my progression into the workplace.
One fun fact about your job?
I get to walk through the nuclear plant several times each month.
