What are your daily responsibilities?
Attending morning meetings, Update round sheets which containing daily information from the field.
What were some projects you were involved in?
Generating Mass & Energy Balance for the water and fuel gas system, Hydraulic study to analyze performance of pumps
What were strong points of your interview? Did grades matter?
My communication skills were one of my main strengths. Grades were a factor but the manner in which you communicated the experiences you gained in school and previous work experience counted more.
Which skill sets/courses were most relevant to your position?
Process Engineering, Fluid Mechanics, Process Design
What did your company expect from you as a 2nd/3rd year co-op student?
Basic Process Engineering experience as well as understanding of pumps and equipment
Did you like your overall PEY experience? Why or why not?
It was a great experience as I was able to get first hand engineering experience on site. My supervisor gave me the opportunity to work on multiple projects in my department which gave me the chance to learn how different processes work.
One fun fact about your job?
Small company gives you the chance to interact with lots of people including senior manager.
