What are your daily responsibilities?
- Equipment evaluations (Heat Exchangers, Pumps, Reverse Osmosis Membranes, Ion Exchange units, etc) - Updating area round sheets - Field visits and making sure that the plant operations are consistent with the network
What were some projects you were involved in?
- Chemical tote level monitoring for chemicals used in the water plant - Evaluation of two heat exchangers and determining the effect of fouling on exchanger performance - Pump evaluations
What were strong points of your interview? Did grades matter?

Heat and Mass Transfer, Fluid Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Separations Processes, Inorganic Chemistry, Process Design
What did your company expect from you as a 2nd/3rd year co-op student?
Basic knowledge and previous experience with the courses listed above
Did you like your overall PEY experience? Why or why not?
It's up and down, some days I do work that's very dull(data entry) while some days I work on actual Chemical Engineering related work such as equipment evaluation.
One fun fact about your job?
3-day weekends every week
