What were strong points of your interview? Did grades matter?
As long as you are above cut-off (about 2.5 cgpa), applicants are accepted. Less technical positions have less emphasis on grades. Extra-cirriculars helped me land the position, by giving me relevant experiences that I can talk about and developing/attesting my people skills.
Which skill sets/courses were most relevant to your position?
people skills, project management, organization, time management, technical background
What did your company expect from you as a 2nd/3rd year co-op student?
hard work, dedication, ability to learn, ability to adapt to requirements of duties which change on a daily basis, flexibility to jump in wherever necessary, people skills.
Did you like your overall PEY experience? Why or why not?
Yes. Pays well, get to experience a different city, I work with great people, my work is recognized nation-wide and has a noticeable impact, many perks, good learning experience.

If possible, sign up for 8 month internship and work hard and they will recommend you to switch to a different position/department - You stay long enough to become good at what you do and you get experience in multiple positions (the lack of which, is the biggest downside to our internship program vs the 5 different work terms system e.g. waterloo)
